Acupuncture treat Endometriosis.
Endometriosis means that the gland tissue and stroma of the endometrium attach to and adhere to tissues other than the uterus.
(1) symptoms
The three most common symptoms are dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia and infertility. Chronic lower abdominal pain is also often. There are about 30% of patients with endometriosis or endometrial hyperplasia without any symptoms, and they are often found incidentally during other operations such as caesarean section or laparoscopic surgery.
In the place where endometriosis is present, blood comes out during menstruation, so it stimulates the surrounding tissues and causes bacteria-free aseptic inflammation reaction, which causes the adhesion of surrounding tissues to occur often. It is one of the most common diseases causing severe pelvic organ adhesion.
(2) Pain
The abdomen pain is the most common symptom. Pain does not necessarily occur at the same time as menstruation, and it usually happens often during the menstrual period. Because the lesion is located in the pelvis and the adhesions are well developed, the pelvic tissue is not so soft, so it gives pressure or shock to the intercourse resulting in dyspareunia. Adhesion of the intestine, uterus, or peritoneum in the pelvis can cause constipation or pain when you see the stool. The usual pain is similar to chronic pelvic inflammation.
Endometriosis in the ovary is often formed, and when menstruation occurs, menstrual blood comes out from the menstrual flow and the swelling is expanded, so it gets pressure and gets worse. Dull pain or squeezing pain in the lower abdomen, pelvis on the anus, caudal side, backbone pelvic area, gradually develops like menstruation.
(3) infertility
25% of infertile couples have endometriosis in women. However, this does not mean that all 25% are infertile because of endometriosis. Endometrial scarring is a cause of infertility and it works quite many.
Endometriosis is known to cause many problems such as ovulation disorder, follicular growth or antibody dysfunction, intrauterine implantation of fertilized egg, sperm motility disorder, and small amount of postmenopausal bleeding due to hormonal imbalance.
(4) Symptoms of special areas
When a lesion in the intestine bleeds, the stool produces blood. When the lesion of intestine is large, the intestinal obstruction may occur. If it occurs in the appendix, symptoms such as appendicitis may occur. If the bladder is sick, hematuria can occur. If you are in the lungs, you may get blood every morning due to bleeding. If there is a disease in the pleura, the pleura is filled with water or blood. If you have a disease in your brain, you can sometimes convulsion or have a cerebral hemorrhage.
What is endometriosis in Oriental Medicine
In Oriental medicine, we focused on endometriosis as blood stasis and removal of stasis.
It eliminates blood stasis, relieves the stress caused by women's stress, and relieves digestive problems when digestive disorders are present.
In recent years, the development of pharmacology has enabled the study of medicinal materials to be conducted more successfully, making it possible to make herbal medicine more effectively.
In the Oriental medicine, the uterus is a second heart for women, and it is necessary for women 's health even after menopause. Therefore, unless it is unavoidable, do not rush surgery, but the physiological problems and the associated symptoms will be treated to restore the uterus to normal function.
